WELCOME TO RIO GRANDE FIRE COMPANY STATION 72 A great source of pride for the Rio Grande Fire Company is the 1950 Mack Pumper. This truck was the first new piece of apparatus purchased for the Fire Company. It served faithfully until 1990. In 1991 the truck was retired from service and refurbished with donations raised by the Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary. Since then the truck has served parade duty winning many awards including Best in its Category at the New Jersey State Firemen's Convention Parade in Wildwood. The Mack - Brand new Testing pump at Mill Pond on Rt.47 The Mack answered its first fire on 11/29/50 Pumping with the Jeep and the Tank Wagon 1960's Outside the Old Fire House 1960's Outside the New Firehouse Late 1960's Pumping at the Parkway Motel 4/4/82 Housing of 7297 and Rededication of 7222 May 1992 Last Call for the Mack 11/12/90
